Register Login Christ Prince of Peace Evening School Also known as PSR, the Parish School of Religion is a religious formation program for our parish children who are enrolled in public school. We offer 1st through 8th grade religious studies on Monday evenings. During our Monday night classes, students learn the faith through textbooks, presentations, and various activities. Beginning in the first grade, students will begin to memorize and comprehend basic Catholic teaching (doctrine) and prayers. These will be the building blocks for the next two sacraments they will receive in second grade. First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion occur during 2nd grade. This year moves very quickly as your child prepares to receive the sacraments of First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion. They are excited to receive Jesus! Third grade through 6th continues to educate the students on Catholic teachings and preparing them for the sacrament of Confirmation. Grades 7 and 8 are dedicated to preparing our young men and women as they open themselves to the Holy Spirit and commit themselves to celebrate the sacrament of Confirmation. They will share their time, talent and treasure in service to the community in response to the Gospel call. They will be excited to make this decision for themselves! They will want to assume a more "adult" position in our faith community and contemplate God’s plan for their future in our Church. If you recieved an invitation to join a particular class, grab that out of the invitation email and enter it here. This will let you get automatically approved for the class; otherwise, the teacher will need to manually approve you. It also lets you speed through the registration process, since we already know something about you. Invitation Code Submit Continue without a Code Fees Enrollment Fees 1 Child - $250.00 (After 5/30 price increases to $275) 2 Children - $350.00 (After 5/30 price increases to $375) 3 or More Children - $450.00 (After 5/30 price increases to $475) Sacrament Fees 2023-24 A sacrament fee of $45.00 is asked of students in Grades 2 & 8. This fee, due at registration, covers special resources and sacramental activities, including retreat days for those preparing for First Reconciliation and First Eucharist (Grade 2) and for Confirmation (Grade 8). Home School Enrollment Fee - $65.00 This covers registration fee, textbook, use of resource materials, Parent/Teacher "At Home" guide book, and invitation to participate in any special events and/or the larger community of the Parish School Program.$40.00 Sacrament Fee - For those in Grade 2 for First Reconciliation & Communion and Grade 8 Confirmation. This fee, due at registration, covers special resources, and sacramental activities, including retreat days.No family will ever be refused admission to the program due to financial resources.
